Hatching time

Imagine my surprise when Alan told me to sit down so Olivia could tell me what was in her belly. It went a little something like this:
A - Olivia tell mom what's in your belly.
O - Eggs. I have twelve eggs in my belly.
A - And what's going to happen to them.
O - They're going to hatch
A - How do they hatch?
O - I will push and push and they will come out
A - When?
O - In about four days ago. (she mixes up her timeframes...)
So - then a little while later - which must have constituted four days ago - Olivia went to the bathroom and told us she was hatching her eggs. She came out with them "in" her hands and put them in the cupboard so they could grow.
I cannot believe how bizarre and creative she is. What an imagination. It's so amazing.
Oh - and she now has 16 eggs in her belly which should be hatching two days ago.

We are currently hatching (like that?) plans to paint Olivia's room while she is in North Bay with my mom and dad. Hopefully we will also be able to get Dan's done as well. Mike and Jill are coming over to help, so we should be able to get a good chunk finished... I hope she likes it!

Saturday is splash pad birthday party day. I keep thinking that i have tomorrow off and that i can get all the shopping and errands done then, but I do NOT have tomorrow off. I have next Wednesday off, so I will have to do some evening runs to get everything ready.
